Thank You, Tak, Danke, Gracias, Merci, Spasibo
Hello fellow musicians, music lovers and whom this may concern,
This past Jammin for Bay Street benefit was a huge success. We had an amazing turnout, great music diversity, a fabulous audience and new surroundings!
It was a test run for The Jam Session and a benefit concert for Bay Street Theater.
In a very humble way...I think we succeeded!
THANK YOU ALL FOR MAKING THIS A CONTINUOUS REALITY! (especially the musicians who performed for free and the audience that didn't leave)
The Jam Session provides a creative playground for musicians to practice their craft and a place to network. It gives the community an opportunity to experience live jazz music for free, while transforming the Bay Street Theater lobby into a cool, all inclusive music venue.
We will start up this machine again on Thursday, January 7th, 2010. 7PM - 9PM
We'll perform each Thursday non-stop through the winter. Please continue to help us spread the word. We always need musicians and a fabulous audience!
If you have any input, suggestions, ideas, leads to opportunities and new musicians, please let me know.
Remember..... Jazz is not dead - it just sound a little more global.
Thanks a billion, stay in touch and keep the faith.
Big cigar!

BREAKING NEWS! This business of the Jam Session - Winter 2009-2010
Hello friends, brothers, sisters, fellow musicians and music lovers,
I am deeply grateful to all the people who came to The Jam Session this spring, summer and fall. Part of our philosophy is to make progressive, quality, live music available and free to the public, regardless of age and demographics.
You all could have very easily not shown up or turned around and left immediately! You didn't! As a matter of a fact, you all stayed for a while, made the musicians play better and helped create an amazing sense of community!
Thank you on behalf of all of the musicians who have come through since April 9th, 2009!
I consider The Jam Session a phenomenon that wont go away since it fills a void in our community. It's alive and will continue to evolve in the coming years. We'll continue to invite musicians with different philosophies to sit in as well as broaden our listener base. I'll try my best not to let The Jam Session series go stale or get too boring - that's a promise!
November 19th, 2009 is our last date at the Bay Burger this year. It's time for the restaurant to hibernate until we start up again in April...but until then we have
